Ban Ki-moon Ask The World to Aids Syria



The Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki-moon again called on the international community helped to stop the violence in Syria.

At present, Ban Ki-moon said, the resolution of conflicts in Syria that killed about 8,000 people, a UN agenda. "We know that we have a responsibility to stop the violence in Syria," Ban said at Jakarta International Defense Dialogue at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Wednesday (03/21/2012).

According to Ban, the UN agenda has three main priorities, namely to stop all acts of violence, to hold an inclusive political dialogue to find a solution to the conflict, as well as open access to humanitarian assistance for local residents.

After the bilateral meeting with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the Presidential Palace in Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (3/20/2012), former South Korean foreign minister called the situation in Syria is unacceptable and intolerable.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian President, calling what happened in Syria as a human tragedy. "So, inevitably there must be a world effort to ensure the human suffering there must be stopped. It is important the world unite to stop the violence," he said.
