Israel will attack iran in 2012 to stop the nuclear program

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Israel and the United States (U.S.) do not reach an agreement on granting certain time limit for Iran to halt its nuclear program.

"The U.S. has more time to plan an attack on Iran because of their military capability is far superior. Consideration of the U.S. as a powerful country that feel different to a direct threat to Israel over Iran's nuclear program," said Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak told the Associated Press Thursday (3/22/2012).

Ehud Barak himself has warned that Iran was trying to build a nuclear defense system before making a decision to produce nuclear weapons and military attacks carried out into the country.
"Israel can not afford to wait, but sanctions and negotiations could still be done in the next few months. It is important to strike Iran in 2012," he added.

Israel Defense statement is contrary to the attitude which affirmed its allies, the U.S. wants Iran's nuclear program issue can be resolved through negotiations and diplomatic efforts.

Not only the U.S., some parties such as Britain and Russia were repeatedly warned Israel that a military attack on Iran would destabilize regional stability and lead to war are difficult to control.
But Israel has so far insisted that a military strike is the only effort that can be done to stop the Persian country's nuclear program.
