Former Indonesia President BJ Habibie to attend a special screening of the movie
"Negeri 5 Menara" at the Blitz Megaplex cinema Pacific Place, Jakarta.
"I do not think that the movie will be so detailed as it is the same version of
the book will be different versions of the film. So, congratulations to all
teams, especially the players because it can perform well and not boring,"
Habibie said in a press conference after the event, Sunday (03/04/2012).
For the most memorable part, continued Habibie, was the scene at the beginning of
the film featuring two children ran toward the lake, undressing and then jump
into the lake.
"When look at this scene, suddenly reminded of my childhood. First time about
eight years old, I've also done the same thing. The difference, then I jumped to
the river not a lake, and was not wearing anything," Habibie said.
According to Habibie, moral messages conveyed through the film "Negeri 5
Menara" is good and should be emulated by young people today.
"The essence of this film is if we have a desire or goal, then there is a
willingness to try hard, earnest and consistent, that desire must be achieved,"
Habibie said.
Habibie added that such exemplary moral message by young children, especially
today, where everything is almost instantaneous. Film "Negeri 5 Menara" is based on
a story based on a novel of the same title written by Ahmad Fuadi.
At the event, Habibie came with his family. In addition to the former president,
the event was also attended by the director of the film "Negeri 5 Menara"
Affandi A Rachman, Adri Subono music promoter, actor and author of the film.
